Purse-Impressions Named Small Nonprofit of the Year by Carefree/Cave Creek Chamber of Commerce

Carefree, AZ — Purse-Impressions (www.purse-impressions.com) is proud and honored to announce it has been named Small Nonprofit of the Year by the Carefree/Cave Creek Chamber of Commerce.
This recognition reflects the incredible support of the local community, the dedication of Purse-Impressions’ volunteers, and the ongoing encouragement of the Chamber. The organization is deeply grateful for this honor and remains committed to its mission of restoring dignity and hope to women and men in recovery.
“We are truly thankful for a community that believes in our mission and makes this work possible,” said Patricia Brusha, Founder of Purse-Impressions.
“This award belongs to everyone who has donated, volunteered, and supported us along the way.”
Purse-Impressions was inspired by an idea Patricia’s daughter, Courtney, shared before her sudden and tragic passing due to alcohol addiction. Courtney would be incredibly proud of what Purse-Impressions has become. To date, the organization has donated more than 8,000 ‘Fresh Start’ purses and backpacks to individuals in recovery, each filled with essential items and words of encouragement to support a new beginning.
Community members who wish to support the mission may donate purses or jewelry at the Purse-Impressions Boutique, open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monetary donations can also be made securely online at www.purse-impressions.com.
