100 Holiday Backpacks to be Gifted to Recovering Addicts
On Dec 7, Purse-Impressions will be dropping off 100 holiday gift backpacks filled with hygiene kits, masks and numerous surprises at Crossroads, a Valley residential treatment program. The backpacks will be gifted to recovering addicts who are spending this holiday in treatment. “We wanted to make sure the women spending Christmas in rehab were not forgotten,” explained Patricia Brusha “So we prepared special gifts bags in addition to our purse graduation program”
Purse-Impressions is a local nonprofit on a mission to provide graduates from rehab programs with a purse or backpack that celebrates their accomplishments, allowing them to move forward with dignity and strength. In just over a year Purse-Impressions donated 1400 purses & backpacks to rehab facilities in Arizona, Colorado, Florida , and Toronto, Canada.
A recovering addict from Crossroads is available to talk about what it means to someone in recovery to receive this gift. Patricia Brusha, founder of Purse-Impressions is available for an interview as well. Donation drop-off to include:

- Boxes of feminine hygiene products
